View Royal Garden Club meeting 7:30 pm. Shoreline Community School, 2750 Shoreline Drive. The speaker for the meeting will be Ted Baker, President of the British Columbia Iris Society whose presentation will cover all aspects of growing Iris', including tubers vs. bulbs, propagation, division, and growing conditions. Garden items and plants will be for sale. Visitors and new members are always welcome. Information: 250.220.5212.

Victoria Lily Society Annual Show, Sale and Tea 10:00 to 3:30. James Bay Community School, 140 Oswego Street. The show features many judged lily stems, plants and florets. The plant sale includes many hard to find lilies as well as some not so usual perennials. There will be arrangements and demonstrations by the Victoria Flower Arrangers Guild, talks by lily club members and master gardeners available for your questions. After all of this, take a moment to enjoy our fancy tea.
